Many factors, such as the detection of pollutants, the appropriate air purification process, the routing of ducts, the airflow of purified air, the inflow of fresh air and much more, must be taken into account and optimally combined with each other. As a family-run company founded in 1996, AFS Airfilter Systeme GmbH has proven itself with experience and competence in extraction, air purification and ventilation systems. Thanks to our holistic concepts and innovative products, AFS was named “Technology Leader of Baden-Württemberg” in 2021.
We are one of the leading companies in Germany for air purification and ventilation in manufacturing facilities. Whether for distributed individual units on machine tools or central extraction systems, electrostatic or mechanical filtering units, atmospheric cooling or central workshop and machine cooling – AFS supplies everything from a single source. We look at the conditions on site and develop the best solution for your needs jointly with you.

As a company, we offer you numerous services relating to optimal air purification and air supply as well as customised energy concepts. With us, you get solutions from a single source – from planning to installation and commissioning. It goes without saying that we are also available to provide you with comprehensive maintenance and service offers after the project has been completed.

Resource-saving production with truly short supply chains from local suppliers and components from the region are a top priority at AFS. All AFS units are assembled at our site in Übrigshausen.

PLANNING
The long-standing expertise of AFS comes into play from the first inspection to the complete implementation of the air purification systems. We provide you with advice and support even before the quotation is prepared and draw up tailor-made planning proposals. The consideration of special customer requirements, operational needs, legal guidelines and the concerns of environmental conservation are the basis of every system.
ASSEMBLY AND COMMISSIONING
The AFS air purification units and systems are assembled by our own trained and competent specialists. Customers benefit from professional and fast assembly. AFS usually assembles the systems during ongoing operations without disturbing the production processes.
Commissioning takes place immediately after assembly.
The qualified AFS employees set the extraction rate, adjust the air balance and instruct the operating personnel in operation and maintenance.
MAINTENANCE
On request, we offer complete maintenance and servicing of the AFS air purification units and systems as well as the HVAC units. Whether regular maintenance, servicing work, system overhaul, system inspection or cleaning, we will gladly take care of it for you. Separators and filter elements are cleaned gently yet thoroughly in our own ultrasonic cleaning system and then reinserted into your systems after a quality check.
SPARE AND WEAR PARTS
All spare and wear parts for AFS air purification units and systems are available directly from us. Most spare and wear parts are kept in stock and ready for dispatch within 1 to 2 working days.

AFS AS GENERAL CONTRACTOR
When constructing AFS air purification systems, we take over the entire project management and logistics for you as a general contractor. Our AFS engineers coordinate the construction process, assembly and commissioning and coordinate closely with any other companies involved in the project.

Manufacturing high quality products and responding to the wishes and needs of our customers is a matter of course for AFS. Functionality, long service life, long maintenance cycles, a resource-saving design, low operating costs, energy efficiency, ease of service and maintenance and, last but not least, cost-effectiveness are paramount for AFS. We use exclusively high-quality components, preferably and for the most part sourced from regional suppliers.
Due to the regional proximity and close communication with our suppliers plus our own production and assembly at our site in Übrigshausen, we achieve and maintain top quality standards and can react quickly and flexibly to short-term customer requests or order changes.
SUSTAINABILITY
AFS PRODUCTS HELP REDUCE ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION AND AIRBORNE CONTAMINANTS IN OUR CUSTOMERS’ WORKPLACES AND INDOOR ENVIRONMENTS.
For us, environmental protection and responsible action begin right at the production stage. We are committed to acting in the most resource-conserving and climate-neutral way we can. That is why we avoid long supply chains and unnecessary transport routes. The main components of our air purification units all come from regional suppliers. In our air purification units we install state-of-the-art fans that comply with applicable standards and regulations on energy efficiency. We endeavour to reduce pressure losses in our units, systems and filters to a minimum.
